King Pangnapa Project Report
This is the project report I had to write in order to obtain my MA in Game Design. I was extremely burnt out after writing this and did not want to publish this anywhere for many months. I've finally gotten the courage to release it to the world.

There's too much drama in library land!!
A compilation of stories to read about the madness that is library land. All fictional stories that may or may not be included in the games.
Biblio, the Great Library Genie
|
It was a Genie! The genie was big and blue, like when a patron doesn’t know the name or title of the book, only what the cover looks like! The librarian stared in disbelief for a few seconds.
“I am The Great Genie Biblio! I am a genie that has served librarians and their users for millennia! Tell me poor, pitiful, librarian! What are your three wishes?” The genie’s voice was melodic and tender. |
Mr. South works for King Pangnapa
|
“So, you want to be President of the United States, huh?” King Pangnapa asks Mr. South, a simple carp fish, in the interview.
“Yeah!” “Well, you’re hired. That kind of ambition is needed here at King Pangnapa’s library castle. Starting today, you’ll be our Music Librarian. I expect you to do a great job, Mr. South.” |

The NYC Librarian Parade
|
This epic parade was to be held on April 8th, National Library Workers Day. It began in front of City Hall. Animals of all kinds wearing “LIBRARIES RULE” T-shirts gathered together.
“Every year, you try to cut the budget!” King Pangnapa begins with a megaphone, standing atop a giant mobile version of himself. “You do this purposefully, knowing the city council will bail you out. What if one year, the city council couldn’t?! Then all of NYC would be royally doomed!” “Yeah King Pangnapa!! Tell them how doomed NYC would be if you don’t invest in libraries!” Crankasaurus shouts from behind. |
The Librarian Turned Game Designer Who Kept Getting Denied
“I’m… I’m being denied,” the librarian begins. “I just wanna do something video game related but everyone keeps raising my hopes and then denying me. I am tired of being denied. I need you, my king, to help me not get denied anymore.”
“Yeah, denial is rough indeed. Very well, our King will make sure you never get denied again in library land. He’ll be there in a few days at your library. Have a great day!”
The librarian was surprised at how good the customer service their library King provided, then shrugged as she went back to learning how to make video games.

A Reflection on the Fortnite Study Practice Game
So, I finally got around to learning Unreal Engine for Fortnite (UEFN), and while I still have some ways to go I was able to make game using the engine. UEFN is great for educators, as if you are not coding-savvy, this is a great introduction to the elements of game design, and game development.
