Concept Trailer for the Domain of Librarians... an Outer Heaven for librarians. 

King Pangnapa has quite the rag-tag team to help him make this competition for librarians. After all, he's the King of All Librarians.... and every King, needs a royal court. These are characters you, the player, encounter in the story of this comedy RPG that will assign you missions, join your party, side quests, and may/may not be integral to the plot of this video game in your quest to become the Master of All Librarians.  Some may also be boss battles..

Biblio, the Great Library Genie

Biblio is a mysterious genie, that can answer any wish... as long as it is library related. However, there are drawbacks to the wishes, as the Library Gods could not afford an all powerful genie. Some wishes Biblio have received are erasing student loans away, a map of the missing library books, and even turning your least favorite coworker, into a taco. Biblio is not easy to find, as he can only be found by exploring the stacks of the library. 

Dutiful Mail Librarian, Crankasaurus

Someone has to answer all the letters King Pangnapa receives, in his quest to save library collections everywhere throughout time and space. Crankasaurus, is a former child soldier from the Land of Dinosaurs, who looks up to King Pangnapa and thinks his mission is rad. Plus, he saved King Pangnapa from the time loop. He is a voice of reason to King Pangnapa's madness. 

"Kiiing Pangnaaapaaaaaaa!!! You... you've caused a nightmare with that meltdown!" 

Carlos the Human Resources Librarian

Someone has to make sure King Pangnapa doesn't get too out of line, and that person is Carlos, the dutiful HR librarian that everyone asks questions about HR to, even when he isn't working. He is known for being the one to have recruited Crankasaurus, for King Pangnapa's castle. Also, he does not play when it comes to shenanigans at the workplace... despite wanting to break the workplace rules, himself. Carlos has the difficult duty of singling out millions of applications to work for King Pangnapa, and selecting the best out of the best for his majestic operations. 
"King Pangnapa, just because sea lions killed your parents, it doesn't give you the right to toss Brian's application out the window." 

Ryan the Sea Lion Librarian

Brian was selected as a candidate to work for King Pangnapa, but since sea lions are natural predators to penguins, King Pangnapa immediately rejected his application by throwing it out the window. This upset Ryan, who now has made it a personal quest to dethrone King Pangnapa. He enters the competition to give both him, and you, the player a hard time as he must win this competition for librarians.

"King Pangnapa... I will dethrone you, no matter what. I, deserve to be the King of all Librarians. I'm cooler than you. If only you had accepted me, we would have been friends... now, you are my rival." 

Witchy-Librarian, Mahou

The only librarian that refuses to let King Pangnapa call her Queen, Mahou is a librarian that dedicated herself to the mystical arts. You go to Mahou if you want tarot card readings, and wanna learn about potions and stuff. Born a male cat, Mahou found a way to turn herself into the womanly cat of her dreams through spellcasting. She is known for helping rescue King Pangnapa, from the time loop by using her witchy powers to open a portal. You, the player can go to her to craft potions and truth bombs that will aid you in the battle against ignorance. 

-Slap!- "Shall I shall remind you... not to call me Queen?" 

Nikki, the Librarian Game Designer

Nikki had embarked on her quest to learn everything about making video games, in order to empower her patrons to create the video games of their dreams... in order to have more video games, she can play. She is also the one who came up with the idea for the competition for librarians by joking about there being one. She will ask you, the player to promote her upcoming video game about librarians to the NPCs. The more popular her video game gets, the more stronger the Castle of King Pangnapa is equipped to deal with the forces of ignorance.

Chef Ricky the Great

Ricky Landon is the great shark chef librarian, known for his abilities in cooking around library land. It's also why he's King Pangnapa's kingly chef. Ricky Landon can cook anything, he is known for saving the planet by cooking a pizza topped with fecal matter. His legendary roasts, are known in library land... Ricky Landon enters the competition, to get funding for his restaurant he plans to open. 

""An eggless... omelette? You want an eggless omelette?"

Justice, the Law Librarian

Justice is a librarian who knows everything about the LAW!! If there are any questions regarding legal stuff, Justice knows as they are King Pangnapa's trusted advisor in anything to deal with legal stuff. They enter this competition to win enough money to start their own law firm, and help librarians out all around the world legally. 

"I'm breaking the fourth wall of this story, to announce that there are no resemblances to anyone in reality and it's purely  coincidental."

Crystal, the Axolotl Librarian 

Crystal is a simple axolotl, who like her namesake, really loves to collect crystals and is an apprentice to Mahou, and assists her operations. She enters the competition, to receive money to start her very own library of crystals. If you, the player collect crystals you find across the domains, she will gift you bonus riches/XP. 

"I love crystals! Give me crystals, and I'll reward you greatly for your efforts!" 

Pumpkin the Spooky Librarian

Another disciple of Mahou, Pumpkin loves Halloween, and just anything spooky related. She enters the competition, to create her own library dedicated to all things horror. She occasionally will spook the player out to try to gaslight them out of the competition. Her methods are.... unusual. 

"Boo! Chainsaws are fun!:"

Sara the Gardening Librarian 

Sara believes if you have a garden, and a library... you have everything you need. Sara is in charge of King Pangnapa's royal garden. She enters the competition to donate it to environmental efforts and to donate to librarians as they start their own gardening programs. Her goal right now, is to start a seed library. She asks you the player to collect seeds around the domains to help expand her seed collection.

"This planet... we have to protect it, to the best of our ability. If archiving this collection of life is one way I can contribute, I can be at peace. Thanks for listening." 

Reina, the Wrestling Librarian

Reina is a female luchadora, who wishes to create her own wrestling TV show starring female wrestlers only that takes place in a library. She enters the competition to receive funding to achieve this dream of hers.

"Imagine it... you shush a patron for talking on the phone, and they talk back at you. In my library, you get to suplex the patron through a table set on fire with thumbtacks on it, as reprimanding for disrespecting your authority.' 

JoJo CoCo, runs a Show that Hates on Librarians, despite having written books 

Jojo Coco is a TV show host, and knows all there is to know about running and hosting a TV show. He enters the competition, to try to oust power from King Pangnapa, as he believes King Pangnapa should not be the King of all librarians anymore, infact- that there shouldn't be libraries, at all.  He is a menace to the player. 

"I'm sorry... a competition for librarians...? That just sounds funny to me. What does a librarian even do nowadays, sit around and read books?"

Mr. Grumpypants 

First name Mr, last name Grumpypants. An absolute enemy of libraries and hates what they stand for, Mr. Grumpypants loathes King Pangnapa, and enters the competition to dethrone him. He is a business man at heart, and knows how to rally up the ignorant to destroy libraries. Player beware...

"Hmph, with her aid, I will use his name to bring peace to the world once and for all. I will use the ignorant and sacrifice whoever stands in my way. Peace... is peace." 

King Pangnapa, the King of all Librarians 

Finally, the host and leader of the competition for librarians. He gives you the main quests and missions you must complete and you are rewarded on a point system. Whoever wins the most points... gets the title of The Master of All Librarians, get a salary of a billion dollars a year, and get their living situation paid for via living in his epic and majestic castle. He truly needs someone who is as cool as him, to help him out in his quest to do something about all this book banning going on. Long live the King, the King of all Librarians..
